Great Service & Historic Charm!

"Cannot say enough about how really wonderful this lovely inn is. From the minute we arrived we felt the extra attention to detail that the innkeepers apply to everything...The grounds are beautiful, and the location is right down the street from UNH. Portsmouth, with great shops and lots of restaurants, is a short trip away."

"My wife and I are in the service industry...We decided to try the Three Chimneys Inn, and could not have been more impressed. The service was fantastic from the time we got there (which was 10 pm) to the time we left. Our room was newly renovated and was great. The bed was big and comfortable...We would highly recommend this as an alternative to staying on the coast. And for biking, there are a lot of great rides through farmland and the great bay area. Thank you Karen and Lori and your staff for providing us with such a great stay! We will be back!"

"We arrived at 11 pm, and Patty was there to greet us and take us to our room. We stayed in the Carriage House in the Teddy Roosevelt room- delightful! Breakfast was wonderful; lots of choices. A beautiful property!"
Surprisingly Sumptuous!

"My initial thought upon reserving a two night, mid-week stay at the Three Chimney Inn was how quaint and antique it must be expecting creaky wide pine floors, old plumbing and maybe a good dose of history during our stay. Imagine my surprise when we were warmly greeted and ensconced in a room with the best a/c, modern amenities and a simple yet elegant two person soaking tub in our private bath that made me want to lock the door for the entire visit! Alas, we had made the trip to visit with friends 'up north' and couldn't stay locked away! It was everything we'd imagined and so much more. We will definitely return with no definite plans."
Beautiful Historic Inn Close to UNH

"My husband and I stayed here while visiting our daughter, who works at UNH. The college had put her up at the inn when she went there for her job interview, and she loved it. Our room was very large with a king sized bed and large seating area. The finishes and furnishings in the room reflected the character and age of the inn while still providing modern amenities...It was really an amazing space with the original exposed brickwork and beams. The grounds were well maintained with outdoor seating areas and a path that led to a small lake off the property. For this type of lodging, the rates were very good. We will definitely stay there again."
